When LeBron James is no longer dominating the basketball court at age 38, he’s spending time with Savannah James and family. Married since 2003, the couple has stayed strong over the years while raising their three children.
The family is celebrating the birthday of their youngest member, Juri James. LeBron and Savannah James’ daughter turned nine on Sunday.

Even though the family has a busy schedule, whether it’s basketball or business ventures, they still make sure to make time to celebrate Jurie James’ special day.

The Lakers star’s wife opened up about a time her youngest child “scared” her in an article by The Cut’s Sylvia Obell.
“Maybe sometime last year, we were sitting around watching TV and talking,” James said, “and all of a sudden she said, ‘Mom, I want to be like you… You dress so well, and you have such a makeup on Well, you’re really cool and you can dance…’ Those were the things that appealed to a 7-year-old kid at the time. It scared me, to be honest.”
Savannah James didn’t elaborate on her comments, but she may have simply found the moment “scary” because of how quickly her daughter was growing up. Over time, as they get older, talking about makeup and being cool are things that growing kids will start to think about.
Still, Juri James chose a model to look up to, and that’s her mother, who happens to be quite fashionable judging by her Instagram posts.
Additionally, according to an article by Sidney Henderson of USA Today, Savannah James also talked about how proud she is of how her and LeBron James’ children are doing.
“I’m most proud of the humans I’ve created,” James said. “They’re amazing. They amaze me every day how smart and kind and amazing they are. I give myself a pat on the back and give my husband a high-five because I keep telling him, ‘We did that.’ We did it.'”
At this point, it’s easy to understand why the Jameses’ children are doing so well and the two are well behaved.
