LeBron James announces new children’s book ‘I’m More’ News

LeBron James Another children’s book will be released next year.

“I don’t just believe in myself and believe in my ability to do all the amazing things that no one else can define for you. I hope everyone who reads this will be inspired to do the ‘Going above and beyond’ in everything,” the NBA star said in a CNN press release.

“I Am More Than” follows James and the illustrator mata girlThe 2020 New York Times best-selling picture book “I Promise”. This initial effort draws inspiration from the principles and efforts of the I Commitment program in James’ hometown of Akron, Ohio.

HarperCollins signed a two-book deal with the LeBron James Family Foundation in 2020 to encourage young readers, emphasizing that they are more than “a label, characteristic or interest.”

As stated on its official website, the foundation was established in 2011 to provide students and their families with the necessary resources, incentives, and academic and emotional support to encourage students to attend school.

“It’s been incredible to see students, teachers, and families react to ‘I Promise’ and its message of encouragement. With this next book, we hope to continue inspiring kids around the world to keep dreaming and not let anything get in the way them,” James said in a press release.

“We are delighted to publish LeBron’s second picture book, which will undoubtedly inspire the next generation of leaders to be everything they dream of…and more,” said the book’s editors Luanna Horry.

The eye-catching cover of the new book depicts three happy children holding up the title and smiling broadly. The hardcover version of the book is priced at $21.99, while the digital download is only $2.99.

“I Am More Than” is scheduled to be released on April 2, 2024.The future Hall of Famer also co-authored a middle grade book with the journalist and author titled “We Are Family” Andrea Williams This year.
