Ever since he hinted at retirement a few months ago, LeBron James has been ready to play in the NBA for a few more years. If Beats by Dre’s new ad is anything to go by, the four-time MVP may have even more reasons to extend his career. Savannah James tells her husband in the above ad to keep playing until at least their sons, Bronny and Bryce, make it to the NBA. The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has his marching orders, and he probably doesn’t want to disappoint his wife.
After the commercial ended, “King James” took to Instagram to express his gratitude and love for his wife. James’ caption tells fans what they need to know about Savannah’s role in the above ad:

Savannah James adds an element that only a wife and mother can present in advertising. She brought a sense of family and togetherness to the whole scene. In the background, she can clearly be heard saying:
“Tell them you’re not done until you play with your son (Brownie). And then do it (with Bryce).”
After losing to the Denver Nuggets, the first time a LeBron James-led team has been swept before reaching the Finals, James looked like he was done. Although many believe he did this on purpose and that he never intended to retire, the possibility of “Lyndon Johnson” leaving still gives some pause.
At this year’s ESPYs, the NBA’s all-time scoring leader told the basketball world that his work isn’t over yet. The Beats by Dre ads only reinforced the idea that he still had at least a few more years to play. Savannah James’ message is loud and clear. She would like to see her husband and son play in the NBA.
In addition, the wife believes that LeBron James needs to do something besides playing with his son.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis can’t wait to take on Denver Nuggets
A few months ago, there was no rivalry between the Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets. Things have changed since then, especially after the Nuggets won the championship. Denver head coach Mike Malone dropped a retirement hint to LeBron James after the Lakers were eliminated.
Malone thinks James might retire, taking the spotlight away from the Nuggets. The bad comments continued during the offseason, with James eventually taking a dig at the coach.
Anthony Davis spoke candidly about Tuesday’s opening night game:
“It’s very motivating. I mean, obviously KCP is my guy, so you congratulate him, like, ‘You got this.’ But that’s just a lot of those conversations, and ‘Lakers dad,’ that happens A lot of it was like, “Okay, we got it and we won,” but there were some conversations between me and LeBron like, “We can’t wait.”
