LeBron James’ family is upset after a video emerged on social media of him mocking his NBA star wife and children by imitating his comments and behavior. In the video, each member of the James family takes turns imitating the four-time NBA champion, recreating his on-court celebrations and his penchant for yawning loudly while stretching.
The video begins with LeBron’s eldest son, Bronny James, pretending to be his father, and his younger siblings, Bryce and Jury, also having fun by imitating the Los Angeles Lakers players. LeBron’s wife, Savannah James, began jogging in a similar fashion to her husband, prompting laughter from the couple’s children, with Zhurie pretending to do James’ signature pregame powder toss before the video ended.
Earlier this week, the video of the James family starring in a Beats by Dre commercial alongside professional soccer star Erling Haaland and his father went viral. LeBron released the ad on social media on Monday (October 23), which captures him preparing for his 21st season in the NBA.
The ad centers on a voicemail from Savannah James and Haaland’s father, Alf-Inge Haaland, in which they encourage their respective superstar family members to keep striving to achieve greatness and “do it again.” “.
The ad hints that James not only hopes to play in the NBA with his eldest son, Bronny, but also with his youngest son, Bryce. “Tell them your job isn’t done until you play with your son. And then do it again,” Savannah says at one point in the ad, as both of her sons’ faces appear on camera.
While James has been vocal about his goal of sharing an NBA court with Bronny for years, he seemed to confirm speculation that he might stay in the league at least until the 2026-27 NBA season, as Bryce will be eligible for the 2026 NBA season NBA draft.
