The holidays come earlier and earlier every year.
On Monday afternoon, Cincinnati Bengals Pro Bowl wide receiver Jamal Chase posted an unboxing video showing off a pair of sneakers given to him by Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James.
The sneakers James sent to Chase were replicas of his iconic Nike LeBron 4 Vapor Edge shoes, but specifically turned into sneakers.
The look of these cleats is completely different from other cleats.
Paying homage to his all-time favorite cereal (Fruity Pebbles) and the iconic colorway of the LeBron IV that first released in 2006, the cleats come in a box that features James in animated star Fred Mordens Fred Flintstone next to the curved animated sleeves. The long-running Hanna-Barbera animated show The Flintstones.
Inside the box is a replica cereal box with a “Ja’Maar Pebbles” label on the front and a picture of Chase on the back.
On one side of the shoe is an image of Fruity Pebbles cereal that wraps around to the other side.
After unboxing, Chase went on to thank James and express his gratitude for the gift.
The next day, Chase was spotted at the Bengals’ practice field wearing Fruity Pebbles for their first appearance.
The LeBron IV will be re-released this December. Sneakerheads should look forward to grabbing a pair in time for this holiday season.
