LeBron James gives Ja’Marr Chase and Kyler Murray Fruity Pebbles-themed sneakers

Cincinnati Bengals’ Jamal Chase and Arizona Cardinals’ Kyler Murray received special gifts from LeBron James on Monday.

The Los Angeles Lakers star presented the Bengals wide receiver and Cardinals quarterback with Fruity Pebbles themed after the Nike LeBron 4 released in 2006. Chase posted an unboxing video on his Instagram Story.

“These shoes are clean as hell,” Chase said while unboxing them on his Instagram Story. “Good looking. Thank you, LeBron.”

The equipment packaging features an illustration of James dunking on Fred Flintstone, the protagonist of “The Flintstones.”

Chase and Murray also received custom Fruity Pebbles cereal boxes. The cover of Chase’s “Ja’Marr Pebbles” box features him in an all-white Bengals uniform, while Murray’s “Kyler Pebbles” has him in a similar ice-white look.

The Nike LeBron 4 Vapor Edge sneakers will release in Spring 2024. They are based on the PE version of James’ basketball shoes released in 2006 and were inspired by his favorite cereal growing up – Fruity Pebbles.

This isn’t the first time James and his retro sneakers have made headlines on the gridiron.

Earlier this season, USC Trojans quarterback Caleb Williams wore a pair of Nike LeBron 4 sneakers against the Colorado Buffaloes. James also gave away Nike LeBron 4 Graffiti-inspired sneakers to the Ohio State Buckeyes for their game against the Penn State Nittany Lions.
