Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James attended the Ohio State vs. Notre Dame football game as usual during the offseason. Sure enough, it was an absolute treat for him and the rest of the fans, after the Buckeyes clinched the victory with a walk-off touchdown with no time remaining.
With seven seconds left and the Fighting Irish leading 14-10, the Buckeyes had their final scoring chance. On second down from the one-yard line, it was a chance they couldn’t get. Sure enough, they didn’t, and running back Chip Trayanum crossed the goal line for the winning score as time expired.
The Ohio State football team was awarded the kickoff after a review showed Trayanum went down before the clock hit zero. However, it didn’t matter because the Buckeyes had already won the game. In the end, they hit a goal and sealed the victory 17-14.
James criticizes Ryan Day’s behavior Call early, was hyped for Ohio State’s survival against the formidable threat posed by Notre Dame. On X (formerly Twitter), the Lakers forward was left speechless as he celebrated the win.

No one can blame LeBron James for his crazy reaction, though. Many were skeptical of Ryan Day and Ohio State taking on Notre Dame football, especially given the difference in experience at their quarterbacks.
After Marvin Harrison Jr. was injured and Notre Dame took the lead in the fourth quarter against Ohio State, it wouldn’t be surprising if some fans had given up on the Buckeyes’ win. Luckily for LeBron and the rest of the Ohio State faithful, Kyle McCord and co. There is no giving up.
