LeBron James is rumored to be in attendance for Saturday’s USC-Colorado game in Boulder, and Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams and his Trojan teammates had a few takes on the court The Kings’ favorite celebration ended in a 48-41 victory over Deion Sanders’ Buffaloes.
There was plenty to celebrate, as Williams passed for 403 yards and tied a career high with six touchdown passes.
Williams crowned himself in a first-quarter celebration — a pantomime that James is known to do after great games. Additionally, NFL legend Jerry Rice’s sons Brenden and Marshawn Lloyd both imitated James’ muffler, extending their arms downward and slapping their chests after touchdowns.
Thanks to Sanders’ focus on the show, Colorado had plenty of star power in front of a sold-out Folsom Field, and some familiar names from the sports and entertainment world showed up Saturday. Guests at the house included NBA standouts Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett, as well as pitcher CC Sabathia, receivers DeSean Jackson and Michael Westbrook and rapper DaBaby.
Beyond that, more celebrities are expected to attend Saturday’s game, with LeBron James, Bronny James, Jay-Z and Snoop Dogg rumored to be in attendance. James’ eldest son, Bronny, is also a freshman basketball player at USC, although he and his father were not caught on camera during the game. Musical performers DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne are also expected to join the tour, while actors Will Ferrell and Matthew McConaughey have previously been included on the guest list.

Sanders made Colorado the talk of the football world. Fox’s “Noon Kickoff” is in Boulder for the third time this season.
DaBaby was instrumental over the weekend, giving a motivational speech the night before the game and leading the team in stride along the sideline and onto the field.
The Trojans led 34-7 in the second quarter before Colorado struck back with Shedeur Sanders’ 16-yard run to Jimmy Horn Jr. with 1:43 left. A touchdown was scored to tie the score to one point. The Trojans recovered the onside kick attempt. Williams kneeled down three times to win.
The Trojans (5-0, 3-0 Pac-12) improved to 17-0 all-time against Buffalo (3-2, 0-2), who was eliminated for the second straight week after a 3-0 start. Making Deion Sanders’ team the greatest story in college football.

USC followed up Oregon State’s game last week, dominating a Buffalo team that trailed by 21.5 points in the first half.
Williams smoothly controlled the offense and completed 17 direct passes at a single point. He also spread the wealth, throwing touchdown passes to five different receivers, and Coach Prime’s home was filled with celebrity guests.
Williams also threw six touchdown passes in Oklahoma State’s game against Texas Tech on October 30, 2021. He had his first interception of the season when Caron Sirmon-Craig intercepted him late in the third quarter.
Shedeur Sanders had 371 yards passing and four touchdowns, plus 25 yards rushing and a score before halftime. Buffalo trailed by 27 points late in the second quarter after a costly interception and a blocked punt, both interceptions and punts deep in its own territory before rallying.
Sanders scored a 9-yard touchdown on fourth-and-5 with 11:55 left to make it 48-34. USC kicker Dennis Lynch had a chance to extend the lead, but his 38-yard field goal attempt went wide to the right.

Saturday was without Shiloh Sanders and two-way star Travis Hunter, who missed his second game with a torn liver.
Shedeur Sanders went 23-3 as Jackson State’s starting quarterback before following his father/coach to Boulder.
Former Colorado receiver Brenden Rice caught two touchdown passes in his return to Boulder. Rice is the son of Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice, who left for the Trojans before the 2022 season.
Buffalo struggled with special teams woes as Jace Feely missed a 41-yard field goal attempt from the left wing and a Mark Vassett punt was deflected by Eric Gentry. ) block out.
Both turnovers were turned into touchdown passes by Williams.
