LeBron James has spoken out and wants Nike to act accordingly — that is, of course, if the shoe giant isn’t already ready to commemorate Aja Wilson’s momentous accomplishment with her own signature sneaker.

After missing out on regular season awards, Wilson won the Finals MVP for the first time in his career, completely defeating MVP winner Breanna Stewart, and the championship title was in jeopardy.
However, it was another New York Liberty star that James had in mind while entertaining his “little sister.” After Sabrina Ionescu purchased her own shoes from the Swoosh earlier this year, he apparently believed Nike would honor Wilson with her signature sneaker in her prime.

Wilson scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds in a thrilling 70-69 victory over New York at Barclays Center on Wednesday. She’s the only player in WNBA history to post those numbers in a regular Finals game, a feat even more impressive considering she shot 52.3 percent on a night when neither team was able to attack efficiently.
LeBron James isn’t shy about expressing his affection for Wilson and the Aces. Before the Finals, he gave her a pair of custom LeBron 21 shoes and said he hoped Wilson would “take them home” when she won the championship. The Lakers superstar also sat courtside for Game 1 of the Finals, a blowout win in Sin City, Las Vegas.
Sneakerheads, start saving now. With the King urging Nike, it seemed only a matter of time before Wilson donned the A’ja 1s.
