Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is loving the now-viral moment between Austin Reeves and former Purple and Gold teammate Dennis Schroder.
For those who missed it, Reeves was waiting outside the German locker room for Schröder to congratulate him again after Germany defeated the United States in the FIBA World Cup semifinals. Dennis the Menace also gave his jersey to his former Lakers teammate, and they began exchanging pleasantries.
Schroeder shared a video of their meeting on Instagram and wrote a pretty cool caption expressing his love for Reeves.
“After the game, I had tears in my eyes seeing you in front of our locker room still going through the pain and I know what a great winner you are! You are a bad person on the court (and off the court), you One of the most genuine people, Brody.. That’s why the world loves you! Keep it that way (and) no matter what the MAX is in 4 years, that’s what you’re going to get,” Schroeder said.
As for LeBron, I shared the video on his Instagram Story after seeing it. He then shared how proud he was of the two, writing: “OMG! Love you guys!” ! ! ! “

This was definitely an incredible moment between Austin Reeves and Dennis Schroeder. Although they had just fought and were both experiencing the emotions of a disastrous defeat, this did not prevent them from showing respect to each other.
Likewise, LeBron James has made it clear to everyone that he has nothing but admiration for both men. While Schroder is no longer a teammate after signing with the Toronto Raptors this offseason, it’s clear he has nothing but love for Schroder.
Maybe next year, we’ll see LeBron and Schröder face off again in the Olympics.
