LeBron James reacts to Colorado winning again under Deion Sanders, Sanders slams Nebraska for ‘disrespect’

NBA legend LeBron James looked delighted as the Colorado Buffaloes secured their second win of the season, led by Deion Sanders.

The American football team that competes at the collegiate level is in the first season coached by the NFL Hall of Famer.

Sanders won two Super Bowls in his career, in 1995 with the San Francisco 49ers and in 1996 with the Dallas Cowboys.

He is the only star to have appeared in the NFL and MLB World Series, and in 1992 he coached with the Atlanta Braves.

The 56-year-old “Coach Prime” has been Colorado’s head coach since December.

Buffalo was 1-11 last season but has two wins this season, the latest of which was a 36-14 victory over Nebraska.

It’s cause for celebration for Los Angeles Lakers giant LeBron, who said on X: “Prime time!!!! 2-0.”

Sanders’ son Scheidel played quarterback in Saturday’s victory, passing for two touchdowns and 393 yards.

However, he wasn’t impressed with the pregame antics of Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule and his team.

Before the game, the Cornhuskers stood on their opponents’ signs, which Scheidel said was “very personal.”

He added: “You go out to warm up and the manager of the other team is standing in the middle of the buff.

“It’s okay if a few players do it together, that’s okay, just enjoy the view. But when the whole team is trying to disrespect it, I’m not going to do it at all. I go in and disrupt it.

“Buffalo means a lot to me personally and that’s what I said before the game. I knew at that point it was a huge disrespect. Coach said a lot about my dad, about this program. .

“I don’t respect that because you hate another man. … All respect for them and their plans is gone. The level of respect is not there because he didn’t respect us in the first place.”

Colorado opened the new season with an easy win over Nebraska, 45-42, over the TCU Horned Frogs.
