Jordan has plenty of supporters as the greatest NBA player of all time, but now there’s another faction of basketball fans who believe James is better than Jordan. We are not here to get involved in this age-old debate that will continue for decades.
What we’re looking at here is James’ take on Jordan and how he would fare if Jordan were one of the elite athletes in today’s NBA. His answer may surprise some fans, while others will think his statement is obvious.

He’s clearly still well ahead of his peers, but can he do better in today’s modern game?
While Jordan would probably be just as good, if not better, LeBron James doesn’t like the idea of him suddenly running around all the elite players today.

Jordan is an incredible athlete. As great as James is, it’s hard to take the title of the best basketball player of all time away from Jordan. Chances are, if Jordan were still playing today, he would still be the best player in the NBA, but the thought that he would suddenly be dreaming of going from a career-high 37.1 points all the way to 50 points is purely crazy to think.
