LeBron James shouts out Cleveland Browns defense, Cooper Kupp after historic start to 2023 season

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has expressed his love for the game of football on social media over the past few weeks. This time, he gave a shout-out to the entire Cleveland Browns defense and Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp as the NFL season continues.

James said he has always been a loyal supporter of the Cleveland Browns. According to the Lakers star, he previously no longer wanted to support the Dallas Cowboys because the organization prevented players from exercising their freedom.

Now, he’s showing his love for the Browns, a team that has given up 1,002 yards in the NFL this season. That number gave Cleveland the fewest yards allowed this season. In addition, James also expressed his love for Kupp of the Los Angeles Rams. The wide receiver has 15 catches and 266 yards so far in the regular season.

The four-time NBA champion shared his support on his Instagram Story.

Christian Wood wants to practice early, but LeBron James outpaces him

Christian Wood is one of the new players for the Lakers this season. As a new member of the team, Wood hopes to make a good first impression. That’s why he decided to come to the training ground earlier than the other players. Upon arrival, however, the big man was surprised to find LeBron James already training.

“I try to be one of the first people in the gym,” Wood said. “I think it was about 7:07:20 in the morning. The first person I saw was LeBron James. He was sweating profusely. He was already one step ahead of me.”

Still, many Lakers fans should appreciate the hard work Wood puts into the team. As one of the new guys, he’s willing to work on improving his game and his chemistry with others. Unfortunately, James arrived at work before his new teammates, before everyone else.

Wood performed well with the Dallas Mavericks last season. He averaged 16.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.8 assists for the team per game. He wasn’t very efficient in the Mavericks’ offense, as the team relied solely on Luka Doncic to call the shots. Los Angeles is excited to add the 6-foot-10 shooter to their offense this season.
