Doha, Qatar: Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani spoke on the phone with His Excellency Kamala Harris, Vice President of the United States, and with French President Emmanuel Al Thani in Doha on Saturday. Macron held the meeting and claimed that the country was continuing its mediation efforts. He stressed that we are working together with all partners to ensure the restoration of calm in the occupied Palestinian territories.

An ongoing outbreak of hepatitis A at a United Nations-run school in the besieged enclave highlights the increasing risk of civilians in Gaza contracting the disease, said Thomas White, UNRWA’s director for Gaza.

“Hygiene is an issue. People are crammed into very crowded classrooms…There is a huge risk of disease in the Gaza Strip,” White said, adding that water infrastructure in UNRWA schools is completely overwhelmed, with an average of 125 people use one toilet.

(11:09 a.m. Doha time) Israel takes military action in Ain Sudan refugee camp
Multiple videos on social media showed ongoing Israeli military operations in the Ain Sudan refugee camp north of Jericho in the occupied West Bank.
Video showed dozens of Israeli military vehicles driving through the streets of the camp. The atmosphere inside the camp was “suffocating” when troops raided homes.
At least 254 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank.
(9 a.m. Doha time) WHO chief says conditions in Gaza hospitals are ‘unimaginable’
The director-general of the World Health Organization has said conditions at Nassar Hospital in southern Gaza are “grossly inadequate” after inspecting its medical facilities.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said on Saturday that the facility was packed with 1,000 patients, more than three times its capacity, and “every corner” was packed with patients.
“The patient was being cared for on the floor, screaming in pain,” Ghebreyesus said. “These conditions are woefully inadequate – unimaginable for the delivery of health care. “I cannot find words strong enough to express our concern at what we are witnessing. “

The United Nations revealed in data from the Gaza Electricity Distribution Company that the Gaza Strip has been without power since October 11.
