Paris is painted in a bright, rich orange: this is not a dream, this is just the latest picturesque idea of Nicolas Ghesquière to present the Louis Vuitton spring-summer 2024 collection. In the front row are all the friends of the House: from Jennifer Connelly to Ana de Armas, from Zendaya – divine for her in a long white dress – and Cate Blanchett.
The fashion show begins, orange takes over, and the first look is shown at a solid pace. The oversized chiffon skirt and jacket are back. Everything is under the supervision of volumetric belts. An open dialogue about the possibility of merging the world of etiquette with a more sporting one. But also a dialogue between the variability of the world and fashion. Can fashion keep up with graceful movements and intangible forms?
A new exploration of femininity, this time on its own terms; The Louis Vuitton spring-summer 2024 collection is moving in unique directions.
