Starting with a poem Wistan Hugh Auden “True Please About Love,” the album’s ten unreleased tracks, released digitally only last May, deal with various aspects of that feeling, as in an investigation. Songs that live their own lives are an integral part of the theater project. “The Truth About Love Please” developed Stefano Massini (Tony Awards 2022), who from the very beginning wanted to attract Luca.
The theater tour, which has just ended, took the two artists all over Italy this summer, receiving excellent reviews from both the public and critics. The show is a unique show in which the stories told by Massini and Barbarossa will have a common denominator of love in its various forms, love of freedom, love of truth, love of justice, but above all, love far from banality. Love under a microscope, on a dock, on an analyst’s couch, to an orchestral score. Love that surrounds us everywhere. And yet you don’t quite know what it is.
Album produced by Maurice Marianilike the previous “Roma รจ de tutti”, and sees the collaboration for the first time Flavio Barbarossatwenty-year-old son of Luca, in the “Per semper”.
Massini signs text de “Love is explained to children”the single chosen to launch the project, a great ballad about the impossibility of defining, imprisoning and theorizing love, a truth that is good to deal with from an early age.
The artistic maturity of Barbarossa in this work is expressed at the highest level in a moment of special creative grace.
