Machine Gun Kelly received a standing ovation for his reaction to a fan who rushed the stage while he spoke at the Forbes 30 Under 30 Summit.
The 33-year-old musician spoke with Forbes editor Christine Stoller on Tuesday during a talk titled “The Empire Building Playbook” at the Cleveland Public Auditorium in Cleveland, his hometown.
Midway through the set, MGK quickly jumped up when a man appeared on stage and told the rapper, “I got you, man. I want to help you here.”
Kelly (born Colson Baker) told the fan: “Man, get that (expletive) off me.
“What are you doing? It’s not beautiful. Don’t make me do this,” the “Bad Things” artist told the man as security forcibly dragged him off stage. The man’s identity has not yet been established.

After some time, MGK apologized to the crowd for his “primitive” reaction.
“Sorry, I try to live in that dichotomy more on this side than the other guy. I left this guy in the past,” he said. “I’m really sorry.”
“You did an amazing job with this, by the way,” Stoller said to applause from the crowd.
