Gracie Abrams is known for her indie pop and folk music. She gained recognition with her debut single “Mean It” released in 2019. Since then, she has released several other tracks and an EP entitled “minor”.
Abrams released her debut album, Good Riddance, in February of this year and joined Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour for an April 1 concert in Arlington, Texas.
In an interview with W Magazine, Abrams talked about her first full-length album, Good Riddance.
“I have captured many transformations and transitions in my life. When I was growing up, if I didn’t want to talk to someone about my feelings, I would write instead. I think this can easily become a place where your experience becomes very one-sided and that narrative isn’t the full picture. This time I tried to dig deeper and look in the mirror a little more about how I contribute to the relationships in my life,” Abrams said of her creative process.
