Manu Ginobili can say he faced Michael Jordan and LeBron James in the NBA.
The best Argentinian basketball player of all time had a one-game duel with Jordan. That was his rookie year, 2002-2023; just a farewell to the six-time NBA Finals MVP.
To that end, reporter Alejandro Perez asked Ginobili an uncomfortable but traditional question: the authoritative voice analyzing the impact of Jordan and King James.
“The first thing I will say is, my motivation has always been Michael Jordan; I play basketball because of him. I’ve always wanted to fly like him.”said the former Albi Celeste guard and winner of four NBA championship rings with the San Antonio Spurs.
