The Los Angeles Lakers are one of the favorites to win the 2023 NBA Championship, and LeBron James is a big reason why. James, 38, the NBA’s oldest player, believes his team has a chance to beat the defending champion Denver Nuggets.
James took to social media on Sunday to try to decipher something a star NFL player said about him on the field. The man known as “The King” also spent quality time with Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry and facilitated talks with Team USA.
On Monday, former Miami Heat teammate Mario Chalmers laid out why he thinks top 75 player of all time Paul Pierce doesn’t like LeBron James. Chalmers said there’s “something personal” in the comparisons between the two small forwards, and that after all these years, Pierce still feels slighted.

“He’s just crazy Kyrie destroyed him in the playoffs,” one commenter said in response to Chalmers’ shocking comments.
Chalmers has Upcoming Podcasts He is widely regarded as one of the most clutch players in the Miami Heat’s young history. Chalmers averaged 8.9 points, 3.7 assists and 2.5 rebounds during his NBA career.
Recently, Pierce said when commenting on the Lakers’ James that he believed he had surpassed Michael Jordan and became the NBA’s GOAT (the greatest player in history).
Chalmers has previously had his own strong opinions on Lakers star James, saying opponents are not as afraid of them as Michael Jordan was in the saga of former Bulls star James.
