FILM INFORMATION
The two Oscar-winning actresses Angelina Jolie and Halle Berry will star in a new action thriller along the lines of James Bond and Jason Bourne entitled Maude v Maude. The feature film is produced by Warner Bros., which has acquired the rights. Berry and Jolie will also be producing the film along with Holly Jeter.
Director Roseanne Liang will be at the helmwho will direct from a script written by Scott Mosier, executive producer of the film with the same Liang.
No plot details have been announced at this time; after all, the acquisition of Warner Bros. dates back only to last week, and more details on the project will be announced in the coming days.
Currently the star of X-Men – franchise in which she played the role of the famous mutant Storm – Halle Berry is busy filming Never Let Go, produced by Lionsgate, playing the lead role.
Fellow Oscar winner Angelina Jolie will play Maria Callas in one of the upcoming film projects that will see her as the protagonist: “I take responsibility for Maria’s life and legacy very seriously. I will do everything possible to meet the challenge”.
The film will be directed by Chilean director Pablo Larraín, who has already directed several female cinematic portraits such as Spencer, on Lady Diana (Kristen Stewart) and Jackie, on Jacqueline Kennedy (Natalie Portman).
