Megan Fox and Sharna Burgess have an “amazing connection.”
Brian Austin Green said Megan, his ex-wife, and Sharna, his fiancee, have really developed “mutual respect and love for each other” over the years.
The 50-year-old actor, who shares 11-year-old Noah, nine-year-old Bodhi and seven-year-old Journey with Megan, and 14-month-old Zayn with Sharna, said on the Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast: “You know, family obviously defines itself differently.
“But she and I share so much, and now she shares so much with Sharna, and that’s why they have an amazing connection, friendship, mutual respect and love for each other.”
Sharna, 38, also said she doesn’t have any “bad feelings” towards Meghan.
She shared, “(Megan) is a part of our lives in so many ways and we will always be in touch because of the kids. So we’re all family.”
Earlier this year, Sharna revealed that Brian and Megan are “doing a great job co-parenting.”
The dancer told the Not So Hollywood podcast: “Honestly, the relationship is great. We’re all actually going to Universal today, all together, and it’s amazing for the kids.
“The reason it’s great is because the focus is on the kids. There is nothing else to think about other than creating a beautiful, healthy and holistic environment for them.”
Sharna also praised the celebrity duo for setting a good example for their children.
She said: “For them, representation matters. So for them, “Okay, Mom and Dad aren’t together anymore, but they still get along really well.” We can still do things with each other. Communication, mutual respect, the ability to show love to the people around you – these are all things that they look at and that is so important.
“We’re doing a great job co-parenting and having as much fun as we can with it. I think there’s a weird, archaic idea that exes can’t be friends and co-parenting must be difficult.”
