After Millie Bobby Brown and Britney Spears, another celebrity is about to debut in the world of literature: Megan Fox. Star Jennifer Body has announced the release of a collection of poems called Pretty boys are venomous, expected in the fall and is already available for pre-order on Amazon. It is 176 pages and over 70 verses and is described by publisher Simon & Schuster as “heartbreaking and dark” and “demonstrates his keen sense of humour”.
What will the poems be about?
As intended by the publisher, Pretty boys are venomous will explore “the many ways in which people change themselves to match those with whom they live, often to the detriment of their own identity”. Explaining her creative process and inspirations, Meghan said: “These verses were written in an attempt to cleanse myself of the disease that has taken root in me because of my silence. I’ve spent my whole life keeping people’s secrets, my body hurts from carrying the burden of their sins. My freedom lives within these pages, and I hope my words can inspire others to reclaim their happiness and identity by using my voice to illuminate what has been buried but not forgotten in darkness.”.
Will “Pretty Boys Are Poisonous” be about Machine Gun Kelly?
Rumors and the title of Megan Fox’s literary debut suggest that the book could be about the actress’s past and current relationships, or at least could have been inspired by her relationship with the star. Beverly Hills: 90210, Brian Austin Greenwith whom he has three children, and most recently with Machine gun “Kelly”. Both love stories were so tumultuous and full of non-stop ups and downs that when Fox deleted all of her MGK photos from her Instagram in recent months, it seemed like they were broken up for good. However, anonymous sources claim that at the moment the couple is going through a positive phase and resumed talking about marriage. Thus, it is likely that Meghan does not explicitly mention her former partners in the book, but some toxic male figures with which she has encountered in the course of her life and career, as she has spoken out in the past about misogyny suffered in Hollywood.
