At first glance the former Laker’s roster may seem a little inconsistent. Yes, Larry Bird does dominate with very little athleticism relative to his NBA counterparts. But if a player like LeBron James possesses all of Bird’s basketball intelligence, skills, and instincts while also being a superhuman athlete and physical specimen, then one would speculate that this player might actually be better than Larry Bird better.
