CNN — (CNN) — Michael B. Jordan may be named one of People magazine’s sexiest men alive, but even he’s finding it hard to be single.
The “Tenet” star and producer was last linked to influencer entrepreneur Lori Harvey, but the pair split in 2022 after a year and a half together.
Jordan was a guest on a recent episode of the “On Purpose with Jay Shetty” podcast, where he was asked about the best and worst parts of being the incredibly popular Michael B. Jordan.
“I love multitasking, I love juggling, I love balancing my act,” Jordan said. “The worst thing is the loneliness that comes with it.”
“I had a sense of isolation. The responsibility you carry is isolating and the weight is isolating,” he continued. “So I think the worst part is feeling like no one really understands and sometimes being stuck in a lonely space and feeling alone.”
“I go back to the previous question,” Jordan quipped when Shetty asked the man chosen as 2020’s Sexiest Man Alive how he found love. “It’s so lonely!” “
“The sacrifice, the commitment that comes with partnerships and relationships, and understanding how to make it all work, sometimes makes me anxious and hesitant,” he said.
Being a celebrity makes it even more challenging.
“It’s not just ‘I love you and you love me and that’s enough,’ right? It’s not that simple,” he said. “Find the right person who understands what I’m all about, and everything follows.”
Although he says he’s not currently looking for that special someone, the “Black Panther” star hopes to find that special someone one day.
“It took a very special person to understand me and grow with me,” Jordan said. “I want a family.”
