You may remember the 37-year-old was last linked to Lori Harvey. The former couple were first photographed together in November 2020.
They dated for about a year and a half and broke up in June 2022.
When Jay Shetty asked about the best and worst parts of being Michael B. Jordan, the actor said he loved playing Uncle Mike in front of his nieces and nephews. As for the negatives, he says: “I love multitasking; I love juggling, balancing my act. The worst thing is the loneliness that comes with it.”
“I had a sense of isolation. The responsibility you carry is isolating, and the weight is isolating. So I think the worst thing is the feeling of no one really understanding, and sometimes being stuck in a lonely space, feeling alone.”
Jay asked Michael, one of People’s former Sexiest Men Alive, how he found love.
He laughed and said: “I go back to the previous question, very lonely!”
Michael says he “swings back and forth between wanting a partnership and not knowing what’s the best fit for me.” Bringing a partner into his world isn’t easy, he explains. “It’s not just ‘I love you and you love me and that’s enough,’ right? It’s not that simple. Finding the right person who understands what I’m all about, but all that goes with it.” “
The actor says it’s also about balance: being able to support your partner while juggling a career. Also, be willing to step back from work at times.
“The sacrifice, the commitment that comes with partnerships and relationships, and understanding how to make it all work, sometimes makes me anxious and hesitant.”
He also said there’s a part of him that hasn’t fully experienced life yet. Last year’s visit to Japan was one of his few trips for leisure, rather than for work, which often requires stress and a rigorous schedule.
“I’m looking forward to that part of my life…I have to start living. I’ve sacrificed and I’ve been focused for so long. I owe it to myself a little bit to be able to do that…I “I’m not ‘looking for’ (a partner), but it takes a very special person to understand me and grow with me,” he concluded.
