Millie Bobby Brown has written a novel inspired by her grandmother’s life during World War II.

This period is quite particular for Millie Bobby Brownconsidering that the actress has recently announced that she will marry the son of Jon Bon Jovi, and that she will also become a writer: the interpreter will release her first novel entitled Nineteen Stepsto be published in the United States by HarperCollins.

The story within this novel is inspired by events that occurred within Millie Bobby Brown’s family during the Second World War, and in particular by her grandmother, who was involved in the Bethnal Green disaster during the Second World War.

Nineteen Steps was presented as an epic story of love, loss and secrets. The novel will tell the story of an 18-year-old named Nellie Morris, who found herself with her family in Bethnal Green during the Second World War. During this time she meets the American soldier Ray, and while the disaster of civilians in the subway takes place, the young Nellie will experience a love in the midst of the desolation.
