The ex-star of the generational series The OC will appear as a guest star in the historic soap opera that has been on the air for 40 years now.
Mischa Bartonwhich became famous thanks to the series The OChas joined the new chapter of the soap opera Neighboursresurrected from Amazon Freeheve just over a year after it appeared to be canceled forever after 37 years of airing.
In addition to many of the leads returning as residents of Ramsay Street in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough, Barton will appear as Reece, an American newcomer to the city.
“I am thrilled to be part of the next chapter of this iconic show and can’t wait to return to Australia, a place I know and love.‘said Barton, whose career following her exit from The OC saw her primarily appearing in low-budget independent films.’I think the character of Reece will be a great role for me to explore“.
