MTV Movie Awards 2023, cinema nominations: Top Gun: Maverick

MTV has announced the nominations for the MTV Movie & TV Awards 2023. The blockbuster sequel Top Gun: Maverick leads the nominations for cinema with six categories. Spider-Man: No Way Home and the TV series Euphoria of HBO earned the top honors of 2022 for motion pictures and television, respectively.

The 2023 awards also include two new categories: “Best On-Screen Reality Team” and “Best Kicking Cast.”

28 actors in their first nomination including Anna Torv, Austin Butler, Bad Bunny, Bella Ramsey, Cara Delevingne, Courteney Cox, Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Jamie Campbell Bower, Jennifer Coolidge, Justin Long, Keke Palmer and Madison Bailey.

Drew Barrymore will host the awards night of the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards which will air live on MTV April 7 from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Voting is open and you can cast your preference at vote.mtv.com until April 17th.
