Naomi Campbell and Gigi Hadid headlined the first Victoria’s Secret show in five years.

Naomi Campbell, Gigi Hadid and Emily Ratajkowski stormed the runway during the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, which took place for the first time in five years.

On Monday (September 25), the lingerie company will air Victoria’s Secret: Tour ’23 on Prime Video. Part fashion show, part documentary, it was the brand’s first televised runway show since 2018.

It also follows a major rebranding of Victoria’s Secret after the company was accused of promoting unrealistic body images and failing to protect its models from sexual harassment.

Tour ’23 — described as “a reimagined fashion show featuring a new generation of women from around the world,” says Hadid, who also appears on the runway. Doja Cat provides the musical accompaniment for the show.

The feature-length film began with a black screen before a statement read: “In 2021, Victoria’s Secret begins its journey. The goal was to give a new generation of creatives from around the world the opportunity to tell their stories and see their creations come to life on the world stage. Platform? Exhibition VS”.

Hadid then appeared barefoot in a nude tasseled dress while walking alongside other models in Barcelona.

Meanwhile, Campbell donned a black leather pantsuit and corset-style top while standing next to Hadid.

A later clip showed Hadid in a gold-jeweled bustier and matching shorts, with a voiceover teasing her: “I mean, come on. We had to bring back some of the old show.”

The show also included Hailey Bieber and Emily Ratajkowski, who wore a crystal-encrusted strapless top and crochet bikini, respectively.

Meanwhile, Julia Fox showed off a bright yellow dress, and Winnie Harlow appeared in a crochet number with gold sequins.

The collection was also modeled by Amelia Hamlin, Abby Champion and Ziwe Fumudo.

Several former Victoria’s Secret Angels, including Candice Swanepoel, Adriana Lima and Lily Aldridge, also returned to the fashion show.

After criticism, Victoria’s Secret got rid of its Angel team in 2021. Over the years, members of the group have included Tyra Banks, Rosie Huntington-Whitley, Chanel Iman, Heidi Klum and Lily Aldridge.

The Angels were replaced by VS Collective, a group of seven successful women. The group now includes models Adut Akech, Paloma Elsesser and Valentina Sampaio, as well as journalist Amanda de Cadenet, athlete Eileen Gu, soccer player Megan Rapinoe and actress Priyanka Chopra Jones.

Members of the VS Collective and some classic Angels, as well as models Campbell and Gisele Bündchen, recently appeared in the brand’s Icons campaign.

The brand came under further criticism last year after it was the subject of a Hulu docuseries. Victoria’s Secret: Angels and Demons.

The documentary delves into the brand’s “misogynistic culture” under former marketing director Ed Razek, who was previously accused of numerous instances of inappropriate contact with models.

Razek previously denied the allegations, calling them “categorically untrue, misinterpreted or taken out of context.”
