Narrating her three children’s sports books, Navdeep Singh Gill said Haryana-born, Hyderabad-based Saina Nehwal was a revolutionary player in the Indian women’s badminton game. Making her first Olympic appearance at the age of 18 in 2012, she became the first badminton player to win a bronze medal at the London Olympics. She also won three gold medals, a silver medal and a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games.

PV Sindhu is known as the Queen of Badminton and is the most successful and accomplished athlete in the history of Indian sports. PV Sindhu won the silver medal at the Rio Olympics and the bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics.
