Stop us if you’ve heard this before: LeBron James needs some help.
James finished with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists to become the second-oldest triple-double in NBA history, but it was all in vain as the Sacramento Kings defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 125-110 on Wednesday.

The Lakers trailed the entire game, and Sacramento extended their lead to 26 points in the second half. Anthony Davis quietly finished with nine rebounds and nine points, while Domantas Sabonis dominated in the paint with 29 points, 16 rebounds and seven assists.
‘I just didn’t play well,’ Davis tell reporters After asking questions about whether a lingering hip injury was hindering his game. “I’m not going to put it on anything. It’s just missed shots… I still try every day. Obviously, you don’t really attack it on that day (when the game comes) back to – Come back. It still bothers me a little bit, but I still have to go out and do my job.”
The Kings’ De’Aaron Fox and Kevin Huerter also scored 28 points each.

The Lakers, meanwhile, committed 23 turnovers and scored just 22 points from their struggling bench.
It can be said that Lakers fans were not satisfied with the sloppy performance.

The Lakers are currently 6-6, with Wednesday’s loss ending a three-game winning streak. They will face the rebuilding Portland Trail Blazers again on Friday night, which should be a chance to get back on track.
That said, with Davis struggling with injuries and other backers not doing much for him, it could be up to the 38-year-old LeBron to fill the void once again.
