Being one of the most famous athletes in history certainly has its perks – something Michael Jordan knows only too well at this point.
The basketball icon got more red carpet treatment than he’s had in decades on Monday night when he stopped by Las Vegas for an Usher concert.
In video shot by TMZ Sports, he was seen walking into the VIP area of Park MGM with his wife, Yvette Prieto, and some friends to watch his friend’s latest show.
There was even bottle service in the area as Jordan and his friends took advantage of his status as sports royalty.
Actor and comedian Tiffany Haddish was spotted approaching the former Chicago Bulls star’s team and twirling in front of them as Usher sang.
Jordan laughed and clapped as Haddish showed off her best moves, and was eventually joined by a mystery woman.
However, Jordan’s VIP treatment didn’t end there, with Usher even giving him a thumbs up on Monday night’s show.
The pop legend paused his performance and said, “We love you, Mike.” “I want to be like Mike!”
Usher and Jordan are good friends, and back in 2014, they collaborated on an ultra-rare version of one of the latter’s signature shoes.
Just weeks after Jordan became the first athlete to enter Forbes’ exclusive 400 club, he made a splash at Monday’s concert.
