After the huge success of their first collaboration WAP (which today has over a billion streams on Spotify) released in 2020, Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have teamed up for a new high-temperature single. Bongo comes out tonight and sees the two share the mic to a minimal Brazilian funk beat produced by We Good, Breian Isaac of The Thirties and Cardi’s loyal producer DJ SwanQo.
The song is the same WAPfull of sexual references (“eat my ass like a plum / my pussy is tight like a nun”) and typical rap bragging (“my garage is full of foreign cars that I don’t drive,” Cardi raps, referring to one of her videos which went viral some time ago).
“It’s something completely different from WAP or what I do in general,” said Cardi at the premiere of the video clip: “A lot of people asked me: what is the focus of the video? Ass, chest, pussy? Of course, there is all this, but it is really beautiful. “We put tears and muscle into this; we put our whole body into this track,” Megan added.
