The Rolling Stones are finally revealing to the world the new single “Angry” currently in rotation on Controradio frequencies and confirming the release date for “Hackney Diamonds” – the first unreleased album since 2005!
New song “Wicked” along with the announcement of their highly anticipated new album titled “Hackney Diamonds” will be released October 20th. The news was shared by Mick, Keith and Ronnie at a special media event at the historic Hackney Empire building, the epicenter of pioneering art in East London for almost 125 years. The presentation was hosted by American TV star Jimmy Fallon and the broadcast was broadcast worldwide on YouTube.
Album consisting of 12 songs. was recorded at various locations around the world including Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles, Metropolis Studios in London, Sanctuary Studios in Nassau, Bahamas, Electric Lady Studios in New York and Hit Factory/Germano Studios also in New York.
Hackney Diamonds is their first studio release of unreleased material since Hackney Diamonds.in the big bang2005, published coincidentally on September 6, 18 years ago.
