A new trailer for Murder in Venice has been released in Italian, in which the character Poirot, played by Kenneth Branagh, struggles with supernatural events. The film will be released in theaters on September 14.

New Italian trailer Murder in Venice, a new chapter in the saga that Kenneth Branagh dedicated to the novels of Agatha Christie, based on the character of Hercule Poirot. A chapter that’s going to take a supernatural turn this time, as seen in the same trailer: in fact, it shows the character of the famed investigator in Branagh’s own face, struggling with a session with unexpected consequences.

Plot Murder in Venice The focus is on Poirot, now retired and in self-imposed exile in the most charming city in the world. The detective reluctantly attends a session in a decaying ghostly palace: when one of the guests is killed, Poirot finds himself in an ominous world of shadows and secrets.

Based on the novel by Agatha Christie. Poirot and the killing of the innocent, Murder in Venice can count on a cast that, in addition to Branagh, includes the names of Kyle Allen, Camille Cottin, Jamie Dornan, Tina Fey, Jude Hill, Ali Khan, Emma Laird, Kelly Reilly, Riccardo Scamarsio and Michelle Yeoh.

The film, written by Michael Green and based on Christie’s book, is produced by Kenneth Branagh, Judy Hofflund, Ridley Scott and Simon Kinberg and executive produced by Louise Killin, James Pritchard and Mark Gordon.

Murder in Venice will be released in Italian theaters on September 14.
