New TV shows and movies are being added

New Amazon Prime Video TV and film releases Oct. 23-29 include Shazam! “Wrath of the Gods” and two Amazon Freevee releases “Smelliville” and “Die in a Gunfight”.

Starting October 23, viewers will be able to stream Shazam! Fury of the Gods, the sequel to the 2019 box office hit Shazam! and part of the DC Extended Universe. The film follows Billy Batson, aka Shazam, and his adopted siblings as they try to cope with various changes in their personal lives while trying to fight the evil of the Daughters of Atlas: Hespera, Calypso and Anthea, who are searching for the Sorcerer’s Broken Staff.

Then, on October 27, viewers will be able to stream Smelliville via Amazon Freevee. This animated film takes place in the town of Smellyville. In it, two children meet a family of green trash-eating creatures and embark on an unusual adventure to solve their city’s odor problem.

Finally, on October 29, viewers will be able to stream Die in a Gunfight on Amazon Freevee. Considered to be an updated version of Romeo and Juliet, the film stars Diego Boneta and Alexandra Daddario as two lovers Ben Gibbon and Mary Rathcart who try to fight against all odds to stay together.

Other releases due on Amazon Prime Video this week include Hot Potato: The Story of The Wiggles, Zainab Johnson: Hijabs Off, Studio 666, Tuesday Night Football #4, Sebastian Fitzek’s Therapy, Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido Season 2 and The Girl Who Killed Her Parents – Confession.
