With the season still ongoing, by the end of September the numbers could even exceed those of 2019, the base year.

An excellent performance also achieved by the return of international customers, who now account for more than half of the overnight stays (52%), in particular thanks to the new and numerous direct air connections offered by Nice Airport: New York, Atlanta, Dubai. , Montreal, UK and Europe in general.

Thus, Nice becomes the first city on the Côte d’Azur in the tourism sector. While hotel occupancy rates are declining throughout the Alpes-Maritimes department (average -2 points), particularly in Cannes (-5.7 points in July and 7 points in August), in Nice hotel occupancy rates are steadily increasing, reaching a peak. with almost 100% occupancy in the summer.RevPAR (revenue per room) is also growing sharply (more than 8% on average).
