Nicki Minaj’s latest shoe was filled with vibrant colors.
According to an Instagram post, “Pink Friday” posed in a set of chunky Alexander McQueen sneakers. Her $790 Sprint style featured an exaggerated silhouette with a white leather base and rounded soles, complemented by leather detailing in vibrant shades of yellow, green and pink for a pop of color.
The lace-up style is complemented by a swirling McQueen initial symbol on each side, rendered in orange leather for a graphic accent. Minaj chose to pair the colorful shoes with an equally colorful ensemble: a blue, purple and orange color-blocked racing-style jumpsuit that made a bold statement from head to toe.
The “Last Time I Saw You” singer completed her outfit with small diamond earrings, layered diamond rings and stacked gold and diamond-encrusted bracelets. To evoke fashion nostalgia, she also carried a black Louis Vuitton bag from the brand’s iconic spring 2003 collaboration with Takashi Murakami; The accessory featured the label’s signature monogram in 33 shades, further emphasizing the colorful nature of her look.
When it comes to shoes, there’s no style Minaj won’t wear. The Starships rapper’s latest pairs have included strappy ankle wrap sandals from Alexander Wang, Paciotti and Gianvito Rossi. Her everyday looks regularly include slides and chunky sandals from brands like Off-White, Louis Vuitton and Celine. When it comes to fashion, Minaj has been a star thanks to her bold and colorful outfits over the years, which have even earned her front row seats for brands like Balmain, Oscar de la Renta, Carolina Herrera, and more.
