Memphis rapper NLE Choppa took center stage at Kevin Hart’s Hart House in University Park South for “Study Break Sessions.” The event was a delightful combination of giving away food to college students and donating 10% of the proceeds to the LA Promise Fund’s Black College Success Initiative.
During this live gathering, USC’s Majorette team performed impressive numbers to the rapper’s chart-topping hits, including his latest single, “College Girls.” NLE Choppa also took the opportunity to highlight its Eat Virgin Meal Bars brand, which officially launched earlier this year with co-founder Natasha Pestano Rice.
In an episode of “On the Beetroot with Jermaine Dupri,” NLE Choppa discussed his journey to a vegan lifestyle motivated by his struggles with mental health. The rapper noticed the positive impact of a plant-based diet on his well-being and decided to completely switch to veganism.
The event celebrated Hart House’s first anniversary and its commitment to providing real, plant-based ingredients to the community. With four locations throughout Los Angeles, including Westchester, Monrovia, Hollywood and Downtown, Hart House is a beacon of “plant-based for the people.” Their menu features a delicious selection of plant-based items, from burgers and chicken sandwiches to salads, nuggets, fries, patties and milkshakes, all without antibiotics, hormones, artificial colors, preservatives or high fructose corn syrup. . NLE Choppa’s partnership with the plant-based restaurant chain highlights the growing popularity and importance of plant-based cuisine in today’s world.
