Recently, rumors have been circulating on social networks about the casting of the long-awaited remake of the Disney animated film. Snow White. Jenna Ortega was rumored to be set to replace Rachel Zegler as the beloved princess in the upcoming film. However, reliable sources have confirmed that these claims are not true.
As sad as it is that I had to ask despite these unfounded rumors, the reason I did this is because the number of entertainment sites is dwindling. Inside the magic posted that Ortega had replaced Zegler, and although their authority has eroded over the past few years, they still have enormous social influence. So I’m sure their followers would believe this rumor to be true, but rest assured, it’s not.
While there are many opinions about Rachel Zegler’s performance as Snow White in the Disney live-action remake, there are also people who criticized her for the comments she made about the original Walt Disney animated film. It’s important to note that these comments were taken out of context, leading to unfounded rumors and speculation such as a remake, the film being canceled entirely, and a move to Disney+, but again, none of this is true.
Directed by Marc Webb, the film will expand on the story and music of the 1937 film, and will also feature new songs by songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land And The Greatest Showman). An interesting addition is that Gal Gadot’s Evil Queen will be singing and dancing, which is a departure from the 1937 animated classic. Another new addition is the appearance of a younger Snow White, meaning we’ll get some flashback sequences or origins for the character. Also starring are Andrew Burnap, who plays new character Jonathan, and Martin Klebba, who appeared in all the films. Pirates of the Caribbean movies, plays Grumpy.
Snow White is scheduled to hit theaters on March 22, 2024, but due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike and reshoots that have yet to be completed, the release will likely change.
