Olivia Rodrigo officially owns Spooky Season this year. After releasing her hit single “Vampire” in June, she followed the hype by crushing it with a fantastic second album. Guts, in September. 8. Now, with the help of artist @Metskie, Rodrigo has released a special collection of Halloween 2023 merchandise that consists of four brand new items – a T-shirt, a tote bag and two limited edition prints.
On October 17, Rodrigo took to Instagram to announce her new collection of Halloween 2023 merchandise, sharing a limited edition print created by the artist known as @Metskie, aka Mette Moman. Shortly after, Rodrigo’s online store sold out of both the artist’s vertical print, “I Made Some Very Big Mistakes,” and the artist’s horizontal print, “You Sold Me Apart.” Fans can leave their emails and be notified if and when prints are back in stock and available for repurchase. Both prints cost $30.
Moman reposted Rodrigo’s post on her Instagram story, saying, “I’ll never get over this.” Moman also posted a video on her social media accounts, revealing the details of the collaboration. She talked about how Rodrigo’s team approached her to create Halloween art inspired by Rodrigo’s work. “Vampire” track. “This is something I never imagined,” Moman said. “I think Olivia’s words and her art are really powerful.”
“The prints measure approximately 17″ x 11″ and are made on premium thick paper,” the artist shared. “There are around 1,500 pieces of each design and they are limited edition, so as soon as they run out they will be ready.” While Moman revealed that the prints were a limited edition, we hope they work on releasing more soon.
Livies HQ, also known as Rodrigo’s official fan account page, has released the rest of the new merchandise. Two other items include a Halloween logo bag and a vampire-themed T-shirt. The bag is finished in black and features Rodrigo’s iconic logo in purple that fades into fangs. It costs $35 and is currently available for pre-order. The unisex “Bloodsucker, Glory, Bastard” T-shirt is also available for pre-order. It costs $40 and comes in sizes S-4XL. The shirt is Rodrigo’s signature purple color, and on the front is the words “bloodsucker, glory, bastard” from Vampire, as if blood drips along with fangs and bandages. Both items will ship on October 20th.
There are other “vampires” too. items on Rodrigo’s website that you can sink your teeth into too. Here’s a white “vampire” t-shirt with the track title and a purple Rodrigo on the front. This shirt is available in sizes XS-2XL and will ship on October 20th. The bloodsucker splatter t-shirt is black with purple ink stains. On the front there is a black and white image of Rodrigo, and on the back it says “bloodsucker”. It comes in sizes S-3XL and goes on sale October 20th. Both shirts cost $40.
There are also “vampire” totes. The natural vampire bag features a close-up of Rodrigo’s eyes in black and white and reads: “Olivia Rodrigo the Vampire.” The red vamp bag features the track’s title and black Rodrigo on the front, as well as her “OR” logo fading into fangs on the back. Both bags cost $35 and go on sale October 20th.
