And she boasts another record: her pregnancy announcement was among the most popular posts in the history.
For the first man in the standings, Justin Bieber drops to fourth position with his 285 million followers. Among the most popular posts, those with his wife and model Haley. Fifth Taylor Swift, of whom we have recently heard for the songs of the album «Midnights». She posts many photos of her from her shows, stories, personal life snaps and selfies of her, thus reaching 253 million fans. Beauty and flair for business also in sixth position occupied by another star of Latin American origins: Jennifer Lopez. Between her engagements as an actress and musician, she also gets busy with her Instagram account which recently reached 240 million followers. J.Lo shares behind-the-scenes photos, videos, and posts to promote her songs and stories from events she attends. Seventh place for Nicki Minaj. On her profile you can find many photos of her from her concerts, her personal life and shots of her with some of her fans who follow her in 215 million. In eighth place again a woman: Miley Cyrus has a classic Instagram account, with selfies, shots of photo shoots and concerts that have recently made her exceed the threshold of 200 million followers (now she’s at 203).
And what happens in Italy? It is certainly not a surprise to verify that the most followed Italian musician on Instagram is Fedez. Former X Factor judge and television provocateur, as we also saw in the latest edition of the Sanremo Festival. His over 14 million followers show that being the husband of the queen of influencers, Chiara Ferragni, must certainly have taught him some precious “tricks” of the trade.
