Stella McCartney, the daughter of one of the most famous musicians in the world, always showcases the cream of the show business world at fashion shows.
And Monday was no exception: a host of stars attended her show at Paris Fashion Week, including Paris Jackson, Paris Hilton, Nicky Rothschild and Cate Blanchett.
Michael Jackson’s daughter, 25, looked sensational in a trench-style minidress underneath a plaid coat, while her namesake Paris Hilton, 42, looked incredible in a white slip dress with lace panels and a handkerchief hem.
Paris’ sister Nicky, 39, looked elegant in a blue dress with a bow and a demure hemline as they posed together in typically glamorous style at the screening of the designer’s spring/summer 2024 womenswear collection.
Kate, 54, was on trend in a two-piece denim suit teamed with jeans and a denim jacket with soft cream leather shoulder panels as she took her front row seat next to show stalwart Anna Wintour.
The formidable Vogue editor wore her signature sunglasses and an elegant red coat over a navy blue dress as she sat down to give her her piercing gaze.
Another celebrity guest was Robert Downey Jr. showed off the animation as he frolicked alongside his glamorous wife Susan, who looked sensational in a black dress with a gray panel at the waist.
Sara Sampaio looked bold and beautiful in her color combinations, with red fading into shades of peach and pink against her bright red shoes.
Stunning Game of Thrones star Nathalie Emmanuel looked incredible in a chic khaki jumpsuit with a shirt underneath a loose jacket.
She debuted a bold new short brown hairstyle.
Shanina Shaik looked bold in a cream military-style jacket with no bra underneath and paired it with high-waisted white trousers.
Emily in Paris star Ashley Park stunned in a black blazer dress with silver embellishments and an elegant turtleneck.
Romeo Beckham’s girlfriend Mia Regan avoided the elegant outfits of her peers, opting instead for a quirky look that included an Arsenal shirt.
Mia’s boyfriend plays for Brentford FC and his father is a Manchester United legend, making her an interesting stylistic choice.
The shirt is the result of the north London outfit’s new collaboration with Stella, which has seen them design a collection of sportswear and streetwear, including an official away kit for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign.
The sports collection, part of Stella’s long-standing relationship with Adidas, will be launched on Friday during Arsenal Women’s away match with Manchester United. This is the first time Arsenal’s women’s team will have a separate kit from the men’s.
Anais Gallagher, 23, daughter of legendary Oasis designer Noel, wore a bright leather midi skirt with a white T-shirt and wore her bleached locks in long waves.
Basketball star Tony Parker and former tennis player Aliza Lim swapped sport for style as they appeared on the show among a host of other stars.
Tony’s appearance at PFW put him in danger of an awkward run-in as his ex-wife Eva Longoria was also in town for the event, having attended the L’Oréal show the night before and attending her best friend Victoria Beckham’s show on Friday.
Swapping comedy for collections was Chris Rock, who joined the stars at the event in a black long-sleeve T-shirt and stylish sunglasses.
The exhibition concluded with the opening of the Stella Sustainable Market, which features 22 stalls featuring vintage clothing and materials innovation startups.
A dedicated animal rights activist, Stella’s name has long been synonymous with sustainability as she has worked tirelessly to combat animal cruelty in the fashion industry through the use of leather, fur and feathers.
In addition to working with animals, she is also committed to using recycled materials and circularity in fashion—hence the opening of her market.
About the Stella market, Vogue Business writes: “Today’s Stella McCartney show at Paris Fashion Week will conclude with the opening of the Stella Sustainable Market, which will feature 22 stalls featuring vintage clothing and materials innovation startups…
“The goal is to go beyond a fashion show—literally, as the market will serve as the backdrop to the runway—and inspire and educate visitors about fashion, alternative leather and yarn.”
Stella said: “We have been pioneers in creating safe and secure materials for over 20 years. During this time, we have collaborated with incredible innovators who I want to support in every way possible…
“We work in such a modern and interesting way and I wanted to showcase this innovation on the market stalls and the concept for the spring/summer 2024 show.”
The market features products such as a vintage Stella McCartney kiosk curated by Euphoria costume designer Heidi Bivens.
Other items for sale include organic cotton items from Paul and Linda McCartney’s rock band Wings, also featured in the spring/summer 24 collection; Parisian vintage record store Record Station; and Ocean Bottle water bottles.
Paris Fashion Week kicked off on Monday and runs until October 3, featuring 107 brands, of which 67 have runway shows.
