Currently the actor is dating Chase Sui Wonders, his co-star in «Bodies Bodies Bodies».
Pete Davidson doesn’t understand why people are so interested in his love life. Since her split from Ariana Grande in 2018, the Saturday Night Live star has dated a number of famous faces including Kate Beckinsale, Emily Ratajkowski and Kim Kardashian.
However, during an appearance Thursday on the “Real Ones” podcast with Jon Bernthal, Pete admitted that he doesn’t think his love life is particularly crazy or worthy of tabloid coverage.
“I’m in my twenties, so I’m busy…for some reason, for people it’s very crazy and interesting. I don’t think it’s interesting,” Pete Davidson said, according to Us Weekly.
“I’ve been in show business for almost half my life – for 14 or 15 years and on a national television show. In 12 years I dated 10 people. I don’t think it’s that crazy, but for some people it’s very interesting. Everyone talks about it.”
“I wasn’t in anyone’s DM”
The “King of Staten Island” actor admits it’s disorienting to see people care about his love life, especially since Davidson doesn’t mind the pressure of social media at all.
“These people I’ve dated, I met at work (SNL). I wasn’t in anyone’s DMs, nobody was in mine. I worked in one of the five Hollywood epicenters where you meet people – and that’s what happened,” Pete said.
“I’m in the spotlight and it has nothing to do with work”
The 29-year-old confesses that being famous for his relationships instead of his work makes him feel bad enough, and adds that he has no control over when the fateful photo is taken by the paparazzi.
“Suddenly you’re in the spotlight and it has nothing to do with work. And it’s just a shit feeling – she comments -. I’m better known than before, but not for the reasons I’d like.”
Pete’s love life first made headlines in 2018, thanks to his brief engagement to Ariana Grande. The actor has since been linked to Margaret Qualley, Kaia Gerber and Phoebe Dynevor. She is currently dating «Bodies Bodies Bodies» co-star Chase Sui Wonders.
