Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are two of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history. Their rivalry defined an era in the league. The competitive spirit that always bound the two men still burns brightly to this day.
Manning recently appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” to talk about a variety of topics. One of the topics the Indianapolis Colts legend discussed was a strange plane trip he took on Delta Air Lines.
While detailing the hardships of the flight and spending hours on the cold trip, he mentioned “GOAT” by name and sidestepped the fact that Brady wouldn’t be on a similar flight to Manning.

How did Tom Brady respond to Peyton Manning?
Retirement suits Brady, and he lets it slide without worrying about the consequences on the field. The former New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers great fired back at Manning.
“I’m sure the temperature is perfect,” Brady said. “Peyton will never be able to handle life outside the dome.”

While it’s an odd thing for two grown men to have an argument, their rivalry is good-natured and brings a lot of satisfaction. Brady and Manning have battled on the field for years, but also compete in other sports, namely golf.
Legendary quarterbacks teamed up when Manning teamed up with Tiger Woods and Brady teamed up with Phil Mickelson for televised events. Manning and Tiger were the winners, but the crowd won because the event was competitive and entertaining.

Despite the intense rivalry the two men had over the years, there remains a mutual respect between the two Hall of Famers. As the kids say, Real admits it’s true, and both players recognize each other’s greatness and push each other to improve throughout their careers.
Manning was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2021, and Brady attended the ceremony. It would be shocking if Brady got the call and Manning wasn’t there to celebrate with him.
