The release of the Greek director’s latest film starring Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo and Willem Dafoe has been delayed by three months.

Reasons for delay
The film by Yorgos Lanthimos will be entered into competition at the 80th Venice Film Festival, even if due to SAG-AFTRA union strike currently underway, it is very likely that the cast will not be participating in the event. In order to allow Emma Stone, Mark Ruffalo, Willem Dafoe and the rest of the cast members to attend other previews, the production company Searchlight Pictures decided to postpone the release of the film, originally scheduled in theaters in the United States on September 8, but therefore delayed another three months. At present, the United States is really waiting Poor creatures! to a new date of December 8, 2023. There is a good chance that the Italian release of the film, scheduled for October 12, will also undergo changes.
