Jimmy “Joker” Thornfeldt is a Swedish singer-songwriter and producer. Thomas Stengaard is a Danish singer-songwriter and producer, well known in the Eurovision world for co-writing the winning song of the 2013 contest “Only Teardrops”played by Emmelie de Forest. He has written and produced for a variety of artists including Adel Tawil, Alvaro Soler, Carpark North, Cisilia, The Baseballs, Leslie Clio, TVXQ and Exile. He has also been part of the writing and production team of “El Diablo”of Cyprus of 2021.

Marcus Winther-John is a Danish singer, songwriter and guitarist who has collaborated with many famous Danish and Swedish artists such as Christopher And Robin Bengtsson.

The string arrangement of the song was taken care of Mattias Bylundwho won a Grammy Award for his string arrangement on the multi-platinum album by Taylor Swift, “1989”.

Who is Andrew Lambrou?

Andrew Lambrou is a singer who achieved notoriety by posting cover songs on his YouTube channel and Instagram account.

He learned to play the piano as a child and won his first singing competition at the age of six. Growing up in Sydney, Australia, he is of Greek descent. He auditioned for the seventh season of “X Factor Australia” in front of stars James Blunt, Guy Sebastian (Australia 2015), Chris Isaak and Dannii Minogue.

The Cypriot-born singer is not new to the contest, as he has participated in “Eurovision – Australia Decides 2022” with the song “Electrify”finishing in fifth place.

Cyprus at the Eurovision Song Contest

Cyprus debuted at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1981 and has since been present in all editions, except 1988, 2001 and 2014.

The best result in the contest, after three historic fifth places in 1982, 1997 and 2004, was obtained in 2018 by the Greek singer Eleni Foureira with the song “Fuego”which, after successfully passing the first semifinal, finished in second place with 436 points, the first podium finish in the final since the first participation of the island.
