    film plot: The film is inspired by the true story of the future King George VI of England, who suffers from a severe stammer and tries to solve the problem with an expert. Despite several therapeutic courses undertaken by Prince Albert, the Duke of York, the second son of King George V, the results are discouraging and the prince suffers great embarrassment during official occasions. Fortunately, his institutional role was limited, as he was a young son: Albert therefore decided to give up public speaking in the future.
    His wife, Duchess Elizabeth, manages to persuade him to see Lionel Logue, an Australian-born physician, for his speech problems.
