On Piazza Vittorio there are live dances, as in the courtyards and squares of southern cities. The instruments are not electric, they are pieces of wood, leather, and metal that are not commonly found in musical instrument stores. The Calabrian lira is one of those instruments, instruments that, when bought or given as a gift, always tell their story, not about the store, but about the people who built it…or found it in the basement. In July we gave Ottimamassima a small lyre with a very ancient sound, on Tuesday we will talk about another lyre, briefly introduce it, and then we will dance to its sound, to the sounds of other instruments and other musicians who will come, as usual, to make us sweat, starting from the age of seven, in the rhythms of the Italian and European tradition, from pizza to Circassian circles, from tarantellas to waltzes.

The theme of the conference will be about the experience of the psychic that we have in the current era, which seems to be completely lacking in a civilization that is looking for answers without having the space of a question, the only space where the meaning of life can be found. born, understood in its deepest dimension.
Professor Aversa, through his reflections, will lead us to discover the many paths marked by the great Eastern and Western spiritual disciplines, and to explore the psychic paths of the human soul, through which we can comprehend the true essence of our existence.
Luigi Aversa is a Jungian physician, psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. He worked and taught at the Universities of La Sapienza and Tor Vergata in Rome, was one of the founders of Italian transcultural psychiatry, and founded the journal Metaxù with Mario Trevi and Umberto Galimberti. He was President of CIPA (Italian Center for Analytical Psychology) and Director of the School of Psychotherapy. He collaborated with Paul Reeker for a long time, met personally with Jiddu Krishnamurti and contributed to the spread of his teachings. He is the author and editor of numerous volumes and works published by the most important Italian publishing houses.
Adriano Ercolani has been dealing with the relationship between Western and Eastern cultures for over twenty years. Speaking at festivals such as Popsophia, Prendela con Filosofia and Biennale Democrazia, he collaborates on the Tlon philosophical project and publishes speeches and ideas in numerous publications such as: L’Indiscreto, Linus, Linkiesta, Repubblica-XL and Il Fatto Quotidiano. He translated Advaita Vedanta. Philosophical reconstruction by Elliot Deutsch (Edizioni Tlon). He published essays on Spinoza and Advaita Vedanta, the concept of the Kali Yuga, Nietzsche and the humanists. He is co-author of Inner Sky and Healing by Alessandro Orlandi and Stefano Ricchesi (Stamperia del Valentino, 2021) and Introduction to Meditation by Francesco D’Isa (Edizioni Tlon, 2023).
